The Gallovidian Way offers a versatile and inclusive participatory creative heritage offering that blends cultural heritage expertise with experienced professional community development practice.
We employ diverse engaging methodologies and approaches which instigate and promote community cohesion, aiming to inspire positive social change.
Our accessible, sustainable projects—ranging from immersive storytelling, to archival work with schools, and community feasts —are integrity led, community needs driven, supportive, collaborative, appropriate, flexible and responsive to varied spaces and places.
We curate, co-design and deliver bespoke community based creative heritage engagement projects which stimulate dialogue, connect people with one other, and with a sense of place, pride, and belonging.
We work alongside culture + heritage organisations, creative practitioners, and with communities of place, purpose and passion, using tangible and intangible heritage to explore, enlighten and inspire change.
We work in abandoned spaces, museums, libraries, community halls, galleries, schools, archives, homes, forests, fields, castles, enriching what is on offer -and where- for us to engage with our cultural heritage, ensuring it is accessible.
Our change making, multi-award winning projects, with diverse communities, explore diverse themes, and utilise diverse approaches which are relevant and responsive to each undertaking.
Our special focus is exploring and sharing under represented / lesser known histories / herstories, challenging perspectives and representations of the past to help inform our collective futures..
