Flora’s Special Surprise Guest
At the end of our Remberance Service for Flora in Dalton, a woman approached us to chat. We were delighted to find out it was artist Fiona Dean, who created the beautiful ‘To The Dear Love of Comrades’ in memory of Flora.
Fiona was 1 of 21 women artists who were commissioned to mark Glasgow Women’s Library’s 21st Anniversary the Library to create new work inspired by items and artefacts in their collections. Fiona’s print celebrates the life and work of Flora Murray.
