A Very Special Visitor for Flora.
Our Flora exhibition had a very special visitor this afternoon. None other than Wendy Moore, author of the seminal work on Flora’s life and work: ‘Endell Street’.
I had the distinct pleasure of showing Wendy around the exhibition to the woman who’s research brought Flora’s world alive for so many of us, author of the captivating (and phenomenally well researched) Endell Street.
Wendy is a never ending source of knowledge, insight and inspiration, her research is truly awe-some. She provided me with even more fodder that utterly lit up my life yet again today with another spectacularly glorious piece of queer history from Dumfries & Galloway that’s ready to be recovered... Mission Accepted!
